AutoSync & GA4 Webinar
Year: 2023
Role: Marketing & Branding & Web
As AutoSync prepared dealerships, OEMs, and marketers for the transition to Google Analytics 4 (GA4), the GA4 Webinar served as an essential educational initiative, equipping the industry with data-driven insights and best practices for the new analytics framework.
With Universal Analytics being phased out, the webinar provided structured guidance on key differences, implementation strategies, and data interpretation—ensuring that dealerships could make informed, performance-driven decisions in an evolving digital landscape.
As a designer under AutoSync, my role was to lead the branding and visual strategy, creating a cohesive and engaging webinar experience that simplified complex data concepts for a broad audience.
Design Approach
As the lead designer under AutoSync, I played a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity, structure, and user experience of the GA4 Webinar. My approach focused on creating a cohesive, engaging, and scalable design system that guided every aspect of the webinar, from the presentation deck to landing pages, emails, and post-event assets.
-
The presentation deck served as the design foundation for the entire webinar, establishing the visual language that carried across all assets.
Minimal, Structured Design – Developed a clean, professional slide deck integrating GA4’s branding for clarity and engagement.
Two-Phase Development – First, I created a consistent layout, typography, and visual hierarchy. After speakers added their content, I refined it for readability and impact.
Scalability – The deck’s design set the tone for all other webinar materials, ensuring a unified brand presence.
-
To maximize registrations and enhance post-event engagement, I designed two key pages:
Landing Page (Registration Hub)
- Clearly communicated the webinar’s value with strong messaging and key takeaways.
- Designed for high conversion, featuring persuasive CTAs and a well-balanced layout.
- Maintained visual consistency with the presentation deck to create a seamless user experience.Post-Webinar Page (Content Hub)
- Centralized access to recordings, slides, and key takeaways for attendees.
- Encouraged continued engagement with relevant AutoSync resources.
- Optimized for lead tracking and future webinar insights.
-
A well-structured email funnel was essential in driving attendance, engagement, and follow-ups. I developed a visually cohesive email design that aligned with the overall webinar branding.
Invitation Email – Introduced the webinar, outlining key benefits and encouraging registrations.
Reminder Emails – Kept attendees engaged with consistent branding to reinforce recognition.
Post-Webinar Follow-Up – Provided on-demand access to materials, extending the webinar’s impact.
Tracking & Optimization – Designed emails with trackable elements to measure open rates, click-through rates, and conversions for future improvements.
-
To amplify webinar reach and engagement, I designed high-impact social media graphics for promotion.
Visually Aligned with Webinar Branding – Ensured a consistent look and feel across platforms.
Engaging & Informative Content – Designed for quick consumption, using bold typography and strong CTAs.
Optimized for Different Platforms – Tailored creatives for LinkedIn, Twitter, and other channels to maximize audience engagement.

To ensure a smooth attendee experience, I mapped out the user journey from registration to post-event engagement.
Deliverables
Each design asset was built to work cohesively within the webinar ecosystem.
Presentation Deck
The central design hub, ensuring clarity and engagement
This GA4 presentation template was designed to maintain brand consistency while ensuring a professional and user-friendly experience for hosts, special guests, and panelists. I developed the core structure, seamlessly integrating the GA4 logo and color scheme into a minimal yet visually balanced layout. By setting up fonts and colors as a template, I ensured that users could easily insert their content while adhering to brand guidelines. This structured approach eliminates misalignment issues that can make presentations feel unpolished, providing a clean, professional look across all webinar materials."
Landing Page & Post-Webinar Page
A branded, conversion-optimized registration page
The landing page plays a crucial role in user engagement and registration. It must provide enough clear and compelling content to inform visitors about the webinar while encouraging them to sign up. Highlighting key takeaways—such as what attendees will gain from the session—helps drive conversions.
A dedicated space for recording playback, slides, and resources
The post-webinar page serves as the main resource hub, encouraging visitors to revisit content and engage further. Additionally, landing pages are valuable for tracking leads and user interactions, allowing for data-driven analysis to optimize future webinars. This helps refine the funnel and design strategy for improved engagement and conversion rates.
Email Sequences
The email campaign consists of three blasts: an invite, a reminder, and a post-webinar follow-up. The invite and reminder emails share a similar design, ensuring visual consistency so recipients easily recognize them as part of the same sequence. These emails act as a bridge to the registration page, driving sign-ups while also serving as a valuable data source to track clicks, drop-off rates, and button interactions.
The first two emails direct users to the landing page, while the final email links to the post-webinar page. Making each email element trackable provides insights for optimizing the user experience and improving future campaigns.
Phase 1 - invitation
Phase 2 - reminder
Phase 3 - follow-up
Social Ads
To drive awareness and maximize registrations for the GA4 Webinar, I created a series of high-impact social ads tailored for various platforms. These ads followed a cohesive visual strategy, ensuring consistency with the presentation, landing page, and email designs while being optimized for engagement and conversion.
Key Design Approach:
Cohesive Branding – The ads align with AutoSync’s brand identity while integrating GA4’s modern, data-driven aesthetic.
Multiple Format Adaptations – Created in various dimensions to fit LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram (Feed & Stories), and display ads.
Engaging & Action-Driven Layout – A clean structure with bold typography, clear CTA buttons, and subtle data visualization elements to reinforce the analytics theme.
Optimized for Performance – Designed with readability in mind, ensuring key messages are instantly clear across all screen sizes and placements.
Impact & Results
By integrating branding, UX strategy, and conversion-driven design, I contributed to a successful, high-impact webinar experience that not only educated dealerships and OEMs on GA4 but also elevated AutoSync’s market influence.
The GA4 Webinar design strategy successfully reinforced AutoSync’s positioning as a thought leader in automotive analytics, while also delivering measurable results:
Increased Attendance & Engagement – The visually structured approach improved webinar registrations and attendee retention.
Stronger Brand Recognition – A consistent design system across the presentation, landing page, emails, and social ads reinforced AutoSync’s credibility.
Scalable Design for Future Webinars – The modular assets allowed AutoSync to reuse and adapt materials for ongoing training programs.
Optimized Lead Tracking & Conversion Funnel – Data-driven design choices improved post-event engagement and future webinar strategy.
